Plasma Cutting

Mann Engineering recently installed a Komatsu Rasor Model KCR-0451 computerised plasma cutting machine. This computerised plasma cutter, for standard and special purpose cutting, is currently being used for cutting material for the manufacture of hand trucks. With the plasma cutter we can precisely cut all sheet metals up to 10 x 5 feet in size and of different thicknesses. 

Along with the versatility and convenience of using the plasma cutter, plasma cutting has given us greater speed, higher quality cutting of metal, reduced lead times, accuracy and precision which have all lead to greater efficiencies.

During our training in use of the plasma cutter we cut a variety of animals from mild steel, which can be seen on the right here, to show the detail and precision in which the plasma cutter can be programmed to do. We also powder coated the animals in our powder coating facility which we have here at our factory.
